Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules for power, substation, civil, electrical, and MEP works.Prepare baseline schedules in coordination with Project Managers, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, QA/QC, HSE, and Commissioning teams.Develop detailed Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), activity networks, logic relationships, durations, calendars, and resource requirements.Establish project planning methodologies, coding structures, progress measurement systems, and schedule control procedures.Prepare detailed engineering, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover schedules.Integrate multidisciplinary schedules covering civil, electrical, mechanical, MEP, engineering, procurement, logistics, and commissioning activities.Develop and maintain Level 2, Level 3, and Level 4 schedules as required by project requirements.Prepare and update baseline, recovery, catch-up, look-ahead, and revised project schedules.Monitor actual progress against approved baseline schedules and identify deviations, delays, and critical activities.Prepare critical path analysis and identify activities that may impact key project milestones.Analyze schedule slippage and develop recovery strategies in coordination with project teams.Prepare weekly and monthly progress updates, including planned versus actual progress, forecast completion dates, and key schedule risks.Develop and monitor short-term and three-week/look-ahead schedules for construction teams.Coordinate with site teams to collect accurate progress data and validate actual physical progress.Establish progress measurement systems and calculate planned value, earned value, and actual progress where applicable.Prepare progress curves, S-curves, manpower histograms, productivity reports, and other project control dashboards.Monitor engineering deliverables and ensure alignment between engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning schedules.Track procurement activities, material submittals, manufacturing, inspections, deliveries, and site availability of critical materials.Monitor construction productivity, manpower deployment, equipment utilization, and resource requirements against approved plans.Coordinate with procurement and project teams to identify long-lead items and assess their impact on project milestones.Maintain and update project schedules based on approved variations, design changes, scope changes, and revised execution strategies.Conduct schedule risk analysis and identify potential impacts on cost, resources, milestones, and project completion.Prepare delay analysis and support the Project Manager and commercial team in assessing extension-of-time claims and schedule-related contractual matters.Track project milestones, contractual deliverables, authority approvals, inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain updated schedules and monitor their performance against commitments.Review subcontractor schedules and integrate approved programs into the overall project master schedule.Prepare schedule narratives explaining progress, delays, recovery actions, critical issues, and forecast completion.Participate in project planning, progress, coordination, and management meetings and provide planning inputs.Maintain accurate planning records, schedule revisions, progress data, and supporting documentation.Provide management with early warnings regarding schedule risks, resource constraints, procurement delays, and potential project slippage.Support cost and project controls teams with schedule information for forecasting, earned value analysis, and project reporting.Mentor junior planning engineers and support the development of planning and project-control capabilities within the team.
