Description

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide continual evaluation of the group's processes and methods, to ensure the most effective use of resources and equipment.
  • Provide day-to-day supervision of employee job execution, to include training, performance evaluation and employee relations.
  • Maintain a reliable and competitively approved supplier network to support the strategy for all critical components and commodities at the best practical cost and within the guidelines of price, service, quality, and delivery.
  • Strategically rationalize and supervise the supplier base; develop key supplier alliances; implement, monitor, and maintain effective procurement programs; expand or consolidate the supplier base as needed.
  • Actively reduce non-value-added time within ARM as well as within the process of our suppliers, drive lead-times down where possible.
  • Develop procurement strategic plans for those commodities that are assigned as primary responsibilities.
  • Initiate purchasing guidelines and policies to ensure compliance with company QMS.
  • Oversee inventory accuracy and documentation.
  • Maintain dynamic of product mix through analysis and forecast.

Facility/Group Specific Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that company policies and procedures are being enforced and adhered to at all times.
  • Comply with all ARM Company and HSE policies and procedures.
  • Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.

Education/Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in supplychain or relevant field.

 

Experience Required:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Proven managerial / supervisory experience is a bonus.
  • This person will be required to heavily utilize the ARM ERP system.

Experience within the oil and gas sector and understanding terminology.
