Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and Western-qualified specialist pain medicine physician to diagnose, evaluate, and treat patients suffering from acute and chronic pain conditions. The successful candidate will utilize comprehensive, multidisciplinary, and minimally invasive treatment approaches to improve patients' quality of life and functional outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in interventional pain management techniques, musculoskeletal pain disorders, spine-related conditions, neuropathic pain, cancer pain, and regenerative pain therapies.
Requirements
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute, chronic, and cancer-related pain conditions.
Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based pain management strategies.
Perform interventional pain procedures, including:
Epidural steroid injections
Facet joint injections
Medial branch nerve blocks
Radiofrequency ablation (RFA)
Trigger point injections
Peripheral nerve blocks
Sacroiliac joint injections
Sympathetic nerve blocks
Ultrasound-guided pain procedures
Manage chronic spine disorders, musculoskeletal pain, neuropathic pain, headache syndromes, and complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS).
Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, rheumatologists, physiatrists, oncologists, psychologists, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation specialists.
Prescribe and monitor pharmacological therapies in accordance with international pain management guidelines.
Provide patient education regarding lifestyle modifications, rehabilitation, and long-term pain management strategies.
Perform comprehensive clinical assessments and interpret diagnostic investigations.
Maintain accurate electronic medical records and procedural documentation.
Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences and quality improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, clinic policies, and international standards of care.
