JOB TITLEOperation Manager | MAF Retail | Head Office EgyptRole SummaryThe Associate Manager - Distribution Center is responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse and distribution center operations to ensure efficient, accurate, and cost-effective movement of goods. The role drives operational excellence through inventory accuracy, team leadership, process compliance, service level management, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring timely deliveries to stores and business units.ROLE PROFILEManage daily distribution center operations, including receiving, storage, order preparation, and dispatch activities to meet business requirements.Lead warehouse teams to achieve operational KPIs related to productivity, accuracy, service levels, and cost efficiency.Ensure inventory accuracy through effective warehouse controls, cycle counts, and proper utilization of WMS systems.Monitor stock movement and operational performance to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment for stores and customers.Enforce safety, security, housekeeping, and compliance standards across all warehouse operations.Collaborate with Supply Chain, Transportation, Commercial, and Retail teams to resolve operational issues and improve service levels.Support team development through coaching, training, performance management, and succession planning initiatives.Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to optimize warehouse processes, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum 5-7 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, distribution center, or supply chain operations, including team leadership responsibilities.Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, distribution processes, and logistics best practices.Hands-on experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), inventory management tools, and operational reporting systems.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and operational planning skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to lead large operational teams.What We OfferAt Majid Al Futtaim, we're on a mission to create great moments, to spread happiness, to build, experiences that stay in our memories for a lifetime.
