(CSCP, CPIM, or professional procurement certifications preferred) MBA PreferredExperience: Minimum 10 years of procurement and strategic sourcing experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role within manufacturing or direct sales/FMCG.Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in financial/cost analysis, contract drafting, and ERP software (SAP).Skills: Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and strategic decision-making abilities.Leadership: Strong team management and cross-functional leadership capabilities.Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This position requires a strong leader with deep expertise in strategic procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiation within the manufacturing industry, ideally with exposure to direct sales environments.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Sourcing & Procurement: Develop and implement end-to-end procurement strategies and managing both direct and indirect procurement categories aligned with long-term business goals, growth objectives, and operational requirements.Cost Optimization & Budgeting: Drive cost reduction initiatives, analyze total cost of ownership (TCO), and control purchasing budgets without compromising quality or supply chain timelines.Vendor & Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with local and international suppliers; conduct periodic performance reviews and vendor audits.Contract Negotiation & Compliance: Lead high-value contract negotiations regarding pricing, payment terms, quality specifications, and delivery schedules while mitigating commercial risks.Inventory & Materials Planning: Collaborate closely with Demand Planning, Warehouse, and Production teams to ensure optimal inventory levels, buffer stocks, and seamless material flow.Process & ERP Integration: Utilize ERP systems (SAP / Odoo) to streamline purchasing workflows, maintain accurate master data, and ensure operational efficiency across departments.Risk Management & Resilience: Assess supply chain vulnerabilities, develop contingency plans, and secure alternative sourcing options to minimize market disruption risks.Performance Reporting (KPIs): Establish, track, and report on key procurement KPIs (purchase price variance, supplier delivery lead times, cost savings achieved) to top management.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Finance, R&D, Quality Assurance, and Operations to support new product launches, raw material testing, and operational changes.Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, develop, and coach the procurement team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring continuous skill improvement.
