Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or science, with a preference for a Master's degree in electrical, mechanical, or chemical engineering. Required experience includes 6-8 years in BESS technologies and at least 3 years leading the technical stream of large-scale BESS hybrid projects. Proficiency in hybrid simulation tools, EPC technical annex preparation, Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and knowledge of photovoltaic systems, battery energy storage systems, and grid energy management systems are essential.

Established in 2006, Masdar (Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company) is a global clean energy leader, transforming how the world produces and consumes energy through bold innovation and commercial excellence.Masdar is a clean energy investor, developer and operator, advancing renewable energy projects across key markets and technologies, with a global project portfolio capacity to date of over 65 gigawatts (GW).Jointly owned by TAQA, ADNOC and Mubadala, Masdar is driving the scale-up of renewables worldwide, targeting a portfolio capacity of 100GW by 2030.Job DescriptionTo lead and manage technical and techno-economic analyses, design aspects and technical project management of utility-scale BESS technologies (alternative chemistries and services) and BESS hybrid solutions in Masdar in line with overall engineering plans and objectives with less complex nature in terms of partnership structure, project structure, geographical location, technology wise, risk exposure etc.. The role involves strategic planning, resource allocation, and ensuring project alignment with organizational goals. The Technical Manager, BESS & Hybrid Solutions will provide technical guidance and leadership throughout the development lifecycles..
