Requirements
Medical degree with a recognised specialist qualification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation / Rehabilitation Medicine.Fellowship or additional subspecialty training in Pediatric Rehabilitation is highly preferred.Proven Consultant-level experience in pediatric rehabilitation medicine.Strong clinical experience managing children with complex developmental, neurological, and musculoskeletal rehabilitation needs.Tier 1 / Western qualification strongly preferred, including:UK CCT / CCSTAmerican BoardCanadian Board / RCPSCIrish specialist qualificationAustralian / New Zealand specialist qualificationOther recognised international qualifications may be considered.Eligible for Consultant-level UAE licensing, subject to assessment by the relevant health authority.Arabic-speaking candidates are preferred.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Previous experience in a leading international or Western healthcare institution is advantageous.

SearchPlus HR is HiringConsultant Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine – UAELocation: UAE – Dubai / Abu Dhabi / Al AinPosition: Consultant Pediatric Rehabilitation MedicineEmployment Type: Full-TimeQualification: Tier 1 / Western Qualified PreferredLanguage: Arabic Speaker PreferredAbout the OpportunitySearchPlus HR is seeking an experienced and highly qualified Consultant Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine Specialist to join one of the leading healthcare organisations in the UAE.The successful candidate will provide comprehensive rehabilitation assessment and management for children and adolescents with developmental, neurological, musculoskeletal, and functional conditions, working closely with a multidisciplinary pediatric rehabilitation team.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide specialist consultation, assessment, diagnosis, and rehabilitation management for pediatric patients.Develop comprehensive, individualized rehabilitation plans based on each child's clinical and functional needs.Manage children with developmental disabilities, cerebral palsy, neuromuscular disorders, acquired brain injury, spinal cord conditions, and other complex rehabilitation needs.Assess functional limitations, mobility, motor development, communication, and activities of daily living.Coordinate multidisciplinary care involving physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, psychologists, pediatricians, neurologists, orthopedic surgeons, and other specialists.Manage spasticity and other neuromuscular complications where appropriate.Support early intervention and developmental rehabilitation programs.Monitor patient progress and modify rehabilitation plans according to clinical outcomes.Provide counseling and education to parents and caregivers regarding treatment plans and long-term rehabilitation goals.Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical governance, quality improvement, teaching, and professional development activities.Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with applicable UAE healthcare standards.
