Description
Manage the complete monthly payroll process for all employees, including permanent, temporary, and contract staff.Verify employee attendance, leave, overtime, allowances, commissions, deductions, loans, advances, and other payroll adjustments.Prepare and review monthly payroll calculations before obtaining the required approvals.Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, tax, social security contributions, pension contributions, and other statutory deductions.Process payroll payments and coordinate with banks to ensure employees receive their salaries on time.Prepare and submit statutory payroll returns and payments within the required deadlines.Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records and employee master data.Reconcile payroll reports with the general ledger, bank payments, and relevant accounting records.Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, employee salary queries, and payment issues.Review payroll inputs submitted by HR, branches, and departmental managers.Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all payroll transactions.Support internal audit by providing payroll schedules, reconciliations, reports, and supporting documentation.Monitor payroll-related employee salary advances, deductions, and other recoveries in accordance with company policies.Ensure payroll procedures comply with applicable labor, tax, social security, and financial regulations.Strengthen payroll controls to prevent errors, duplicate payments, unauthorized changes, and fraud.Prepare monthly payroll reports and management information, including payroll costs, headcount, allowances, deductions, and statutory liabilities.Assist with annual budgeting, salary reviews, staff cost analysis, and payroll forecasting.Maintain strict confidentiality of employee compensation and personal information.
