A. Equipment MaintenancePerform regular preventive maintenance on dental chairs, suction units, X-ray machines, autoclaves, compressors, and other clinical devices.Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment with minimal downtime.Calibrate dental equipment in accordance with manufacturer and health authority standards.Maintain detailed logs of equipment maintenance, issues, and resolutions.B. Infection Control SupportEnsure sterilizers and autoclaves operate correctly and report any faults immediately.Coordinate with the Infection Control Officer to ensure maintenance activities do not compromise infection control protocols.C. Emergency ResponseRespond promptly to urgent repair requests (e.g., power failures, water leaks, malfunctioning dental units).Remain on-call for critical maintenance issues during clinic operating hours.D.
