Position overview
A leading healthcare organization in the UAE is seeking an experienced Oral Medicine Specialist/Consultant with Australian Board qualification to join its dental specialty team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive diagnosis and management of complex oral and medically related oral conditions.
Key responsibilities
Diagnose and manage complex oral mucosal, salivary gland, and orofacial conditions.
Assess and manage patients with potentially malignant and malignant oral lesions.
Provide comprehensive evaluation of oral manifestations of systemic diseases.
Manage chronic orofacial pain and related conditions.
Perform oral biopsies and other appropriate diagnostic procedures.
Interpret relevant clinical, radiological, and laboratory investigations.
Develop individualized treatment plans and provide appropriate follow-up.
Collaborate with dentists, physicians, oral and maxillofacial surgeons, dermatologists, and other specialists.
Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations.
Participate in clinical governance, teaching, research, audit, and quality-improvement activities.
