Experience with construction and building materials is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of construction materials, procurement processes, UAE suppliers, and coordination of material deliveries and logistics for construction projects is essential. Must possess excellent communication, organization, coordination, time-management, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.

JOB PURPOSE: The Procurement & Logistics Coordinator supports construction and building projects across the UAE. The role will be responsible for coordinating procurement activities, supplier follow-ups, material deliveries, logistics, documentation, and ensuring that required materials and equipment are available at project sites on time and in line with project requirements. The ideal candidate should have experience in construction, contracting, fit-out, building materials, MEP, or related project environments and a good understanding of UAE suppliers, logistics processes, and construction materials.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:Procurement & Material SourcingCoordinate end-to-end procurement and logistics activities for construction and building projects across the UAE.Receive and review material requirements from project teams and ensure timely sourcing and delivery of materials, equipment, tools, and other project requirements.Source materials from approved and new suppliers, obtain and compare quotations, negotiate pricing and commercial terms, and prepare purchase requests and purchase orders.Supplier & Logistics CoordinationMaintain strong relationships with suppliers, transport companies, warehouse teams, and project/site personnel to ensure smooth procurement and delivery operations.Follow up with suppliers on availability, lead times, production, dispatch, and delivery schedules to ensure materials reach project sites on time.Coordinate transportation and delivery of materials to multiple project sites across the UAE, including urgent and last-minute requirements.Order Tracking & Project CoordinationTrack all outstanding purchase orders, material requests, and deliveries, providing regular updates to Project Managers and relevant stakeholders.Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Storekeepers, and Site Supervisors to ensure materials are delivered according to project specifications, quantities, and required timelines.Monitor stock availability and coordinate with warehouse teams for material allocation, replenishment, and movement between warehouse and project sites.Resolve procurement, supplier, transportation, delivery, and material-related issues promptly to minimize project delays.Documentation & ReportingVerify purchase orders, delivery notes, material receipts, and supplier invoices to ensure accuracy and proper documentation.Maintain accurate procurement, supplier, logistics, and delivery records and ensure all documentation is properly updated and filed.Prepare regular procurement and logistics reports covering pending orders, expected deliveries, supplier performance, material status, and potential delays.Monitor supplier performance, lead times, pricing, and service levels and escalate any significant issues to the relevant management.Compliance & Cost OptimizationEnsure all procurement and logistics activities comply with company policies, approved budgets, project requirements, and applicable UAE regulations.Support cost optimization by identifying alternative suppliers, competitive quotations, and efficient logistics solutions.Handle multiple project requirements simultaneously and prioritize urgent requirements based on project schedules and site needs.EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.MinimumExperience: 4–8 years of experience in procurement, logistics, or materials coordination within the UAE construction/contracting industry.Experience working with construction and building materials is highly preferred.SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:Job Specific: Strong knowledge of construction materials, procurement processes, and UAE suppliers.
