MEP DraftsmanRole Overview: The MEP Draftsman develops intricate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing layouts crucial for power plants, cooling systems in data centers, and smart grid facilities.Key Responsibilities:Create comprehensive Mechanical (HVAC, process cooling), Electrical (high/low voltage, cable trays), and Plumbing (fire protection, water supply) drawings.Draft Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), wiring schematics, and equipment layout plans for substations and switchyards.Develop isometric drawings for process piping and ductwork routing.Perform spatial coordination to ensure proper clearances for operation and maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment.Collaborate with engineers to route complex underground and above-ground utility networks without interfering with structural elements.Qualifications & Key Requirements:Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or MEP Drafting.Minimum 3–5 years of experience in MEP design for power plants, oil & gas, or mission-critical digital facilities.Software & Technical Skills: High proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D), AutoCAD MEP, Revit MEP, and Navisworks (for basic clash detection).
