Financial Accounting & Reporting• Oversee daily accounting activities including journals, accruals, provisions, and reconciliations.• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.• Review general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial records.2. Management Reporting & Analysis• Prepare monthly management accounts and performance reports.• Analyze actuals vs budget/forecast and explain key variances.• Provide insights on revenue, costs, profitability, working capital, and cash flow.• Monitor KPIs and support performance evaluation.3. Budgeting & Forecasting• Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting.• Coordinate with departments on assumptions and inputs.• Track budget performance and highlight variances.• Support cost control initiatives.4. Working Capital Management• Monitor receivables and payables for accuracy and aging control.• Support collections and supplier payment processes.• Ensure timely reconciliations and resolution of outstanding items.• Support working capital and liquidity optimization.5. Cash Flow & Treasury Support• Prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor daily cash positions.• Track inflows, outflows, and payment obligations.• Support bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.• Coordinate with banking functions for smooth payment processing.6. Financial Controls & Compliance• Maintain and strengthen internal financial controls.• Ensure compliance with policies, authority limits, and accounting standards.• Identify control gaps and support corrective actions.• Support audit issue resolution and segregation of duties.7. Audit & Reporting Support• Coordinate with internal and external auditors.• Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation.• Respond to audit queries and support issue closure.• Assist in statutory financial statements and regulatory reporting.8. Process Improvement• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and automation.• Support ERP and finance system enhancements.• Improve reporting, reconciliation, and data validation processes.• Maintain updated process documentation.QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE :ACCA, CPA, CA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification.5 to 10 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.Big Four audit experience preferable.Service industry experience would be an added advantageBilingual – fluency in Arabic and English preferred.SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:Bilingual – fluency in Arabic and English preferred.Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and ERP finance systems.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and variance analysis skills.High attention to detail with commitment to accuracy and deadlines.Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.Integrity, confidentiality, and a strong internal-controls mindset.
