Ensure piping installation is carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, procedures, and project requirements. Review construction work packs, method statements, and risk assessments. Verify contractor compliance with project HSE requirements and permit-to-work systems. Coordinate piping activities with civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and commissioning teams. Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards such as: ASME B31.3 ASME Section IX API standards Project specifications and procedures Monitor welding, NDT, hydrotesting, flushing, reinstatement, and mechanical completion activities. Participate in inspections and witness critical construction activities. Review and close punch-list items related to piping systems. Monitor contractor productivity and construction progress. Identify potential delays and recommend corrective actions. Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly progress meetings. Review contractor schedules and work plans. Promote a strong safety culture across all construction activities. Conduct site safety inspections and participate in toolbox talks. Ensure compliance with project HSE procedures and local regulations. Support incident investigations and implementation of corrective actions. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, QA/QC, commissioning, and operations teams. Resolve construction-related technical issues in coordination with engineering disciplines. Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities. Prepare daily and weekly construction reports. Review contractor reports and progress updates. Maintain records of inspections, testing, and construction activities. Track and report construction KPIs.
