Role overview
The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced consultants, nurses, allied health professionals, radiographers, and modern diagnostic and interventional infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
Perform image-guided vascular and non-vascular interventions using fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, and angiography.
Assess patients, obtain informed consent, plan procedures, and manage peri-procedural risks.
Perform procedures such as biopsies, drainages, embolisation, angioplasty, stenting, and venous access according to clinical expertise and facility privileges.
Interpret imaging findings and collaborate with surgery, oncology, nephrology, emergency medicine, and critical care teams.
Maintain radiation safety, sterile technique, procedural documentation, and appropriate monitoring of complications.
Contribute to service development, multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, and governance initiatives.
