Job summary
We are seeking a highly skilled consultant interventional radiologist to join a leading healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and the Al Dhafra Region. The successful candidate will provide advanced image-guided diagnostic and minimally invasive therapeutic procedures while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key responsibilities
Perform a wide range of image-guided minimally invasive procedures, including vascular and non-vascular interventions.
Conduct procedures such as angiography, angioplasty, embolization, thrombolysis, vascular access, biopsies, drainages, ablations, and other interventional radiology treatments.
Evaluate patients, formulate treatment plans, and provide pre-procedural consultations and post-procedural follow-up care.
Interpret diagnostic imaging including CT, MRI, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy to support interventional procedures.
Collaborate with vascular surgery, oncology, hepatology, nephrology, urology, trauma, emergency medicine, and other specialties to provide comprehensive patient care.
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, tumor boards, and case discussions.
Ensure accurate clinical documentation and maintain compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and international best practices.
Supervise junior physicians, fellows, and radiology staff as required.
Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, research, and continuing medical education activities.
Participate in on-call services for emergency interventional radiology procedures.
