Requirements
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in engineering with zero years of experience. Must have legal authorization to work in the United States and be able to work full-time (40 hours) per week in-person. Preferred qualifications include a GPA of 3.0 or above, prior internship experience, an ABET-accredited engineering degree in Computer, Electrical, or Software Engineering or Computer Science, strong written and verbal communication skills, understanding of basic security concepts, and student-level proficiency in a programming/scripting language.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Collaborate with the Product Security team to enhance cybersecurity across Emerson’s product portfolio.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of secure coding practices.
  • Support efforts to meet regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Participate in agile development processes and contribute to secure software/firmware development.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations through persuasive writing and effective verbal communication.
  • Engage in empathetic thinking to understand user and stakeholder needs.
  • Learn and apply cybersecurity principles in a real-world product environment.
  • Work in a team-oriented setting and contribute to a collaborative culture.
