Requirements
Pursuing a Bachelor's in engineering with zero years of experience. Must have legal authorization to work in the United States. Preferred qualifications include a GPA of 3.0 or above, prior internship experience, an ABET-accredited engineering degree (Computer, Electrical, Software, or Computer Science), strong written and verbal communication skills, understanding of basic security concepts (encryption, secure software development, regulatory compliance), and student-level proficiency in programming/scripting languages like C/C++, Python, or PowerShell.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Collaborate with the Product Security team to enhance cybersecurity across Emerson’s product portfolio.
Assist in the development and implementation of secure coding practices.
Support efforts to meet regulatory compliance requirements.
Participate in agile development processes and contribute to secure software/firmware development.
Communicate findings and recommendations through persuasive writing and effective verbal communication.
Engage in empathetic thinking to understand user and stakeholder needs.
Learn and apply cybersecurity principles in a real-world product environment.
