Operations officerAn Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) financial services firm regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) is seeking an Operations Officer for an on-site role based in Abu Dhabi.The firm provides custody, brokerage/execution, investment advisory and asset management services to professional and institutional clients.Responsibilities:• Full post-trade cycle: trade confirmations, cash & securities reconciliation, settlements (including Euroclear/Clearstream and local markets), custody operations.• Pro-active participation in the implementation of new products and enhancement of the operational infrastructure.• Daily support of the trade execution workflow together with trading.• Setup of client accounts and instrument static into the firm's operational system (static data, trading settings, etc.).• Identification and resolution of cash and securities breaks.• Preparation of operational reports and liaison with brokers and custodians.Qualifications:• Understanding and experience of working with global equities and other exchange-traded products, bonds (Euroclear/Clearstream + local markets) exchange-traded and OTC derivatives (futures, forwards, options)• 3+ years experience in back-office / middle-office / operations of a brokerage or asset management firm • Experience of work in Zag Trader is a strong advantage• Proven experience of participation in change IT-related projects • Ability to work in a team and contribute individually• High attention to detail and ability to manage a high volume of tasks under tight deadlines
