We are partnering with a leading multinational organisation to appoint a Logistics Manager to oversee logistics operations across the Africa region. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and customer-focused logistics operations while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage end-to-end logistics operations across multiple African markets.Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with business objectives.Oversee warehousing, transportation, import/export, customs, inventory management, and distribution activities.Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, freight forwarders, and key logistics partners.Drive improvements in service levels, cost optimisation, and operational efficiency.Ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.Monitor logistics KPIs and implement corrective actions to improve performance.Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales, Customer Service, and Finance teams.Lead, coach, and develop the logistics team while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety.Identify risks within the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to maintain business continuity.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.8–12+ years of progressive logistics and supply chain experience within a multinational environment.Strong experience managing regional logistics operations across multiple countries.Proven expertise in transportation, warehousing, distribution, import/export, and customs processes.Experience managing third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and logistics contracts.Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred) and logistics performance reporting.Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing teams.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Strong analytical mindset with experience driving operational improvements and cost optimisation.Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is an advantage.
