The Senior Director of Global FRU & Spares Planning is responsible for leading the global planning strategy and operating model for Field Replaceable Units (FRUs) and service spares. This role ensures material availability across the global service network while optimizing inventory investment, supply risk, repair utilization, and customer availability. Key responsibilities include owning demand and supply planning, inventory strategy, planning methodology, financial governance, and planning systems for the global spares portfolio. The director will lead a global planning organization and collaborate with various internal departments.
Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 15 years of progressive supply chain or planning experience, with a minimum of 7 years in a leadership capacity. Significant experience with FRUs, service spares, repairable inventory, or aftermarket supply chains is essential, along with strong expertise in demand, supply, and inventory planning, and experience with intermittent and failure-driven demand. The role requires strong financial acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders and drive transformation.
