Description
We are seeking a Business Planning Officer to support the development and execution business planning and performance management activities. The role will work closely with business functions and senior stakeholders to ensure departmental plans are aligned with organizational strategy and provide data-driven insights to support management decision-making.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate the annual business planning process and consolidate departmental business plans in alignment with strategic objectives.Monitor business plans, KPIs, targets, milestones, and performance, identifying key variances and areas requiring attention.Develop business models, forecasts, scenarios, and analytical reports to support strategic decision-making.Support financial forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis in coordination with relevant stakeholders.Coordinate with the PMO to track strategic initiatives and incorporate project updates into business plans and reporting.Support the development and monitoring of strategic initiatives, including objectives, deliverables, milestones, risks, and timelines.Prepare business performance reports, dashboards, presentations, and management updates.Analyze business data, market trends, risks, and opportunities and translate findings into actionable recommendations.Collaborate with Department Heads and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of business priorities and plans.Identify business and project risks and support the development of mitigation and contingency plans.Identify opportunities to improve business planning, reporting, governance, productivity, and cost efficiency.Stay informed of relevant industry trends and leading practices in business planning and strategic management.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in business administration, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Management, or a related discipline.Master's degree/MBA is preferred.5+ years of relevant experience for Officer level or 6–8 years for Specialist level.Experience in business planning, strategy, business analysis, performance management, or project management within a corporate environment.Proven experience working with senior management and cross-functional stakeholders.Required SkillsStrategic and business planningBusiness modelling and scenario analysisFinancial analysis and forecastingKPI and performance managementBusiness data analysisStrategic reporting and presentationProject and initiative coordinationRisk identification and mitigationAdvanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPointStrong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
