Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, English Literature, or a related field.Relevant teaching qualification or certification is preferred.Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in English, preferably in Middle and/or High School.Previous experience in a coordination, leadership, or Head of Department role is highly preferred.Strong knowledge of English language curriculum, teaching methodologies, and assessment practices.Excellent written and spoken English.Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Ability to mentor, motivate, and support teachers effectively.Strong classroom management and instructional skills.Ability to analyze student performance data and develop effective improvement plans.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Ability to work collaboratively within a multicultural school environment.Proficiency in using educational technology and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace tools.Commitment to maintaining high academic and professional standards.

The Middle & High School English Coordinator is responsible for leading and supporting the English Department across the Middle and High School divisions. The coordinator ensures the effective implementation of the English curriculum, maintains high academic standards, supports teachers’ professional development, and monitors student progress and achievement.The role requires strong leadership, communication, organizational, and instructional skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, parents, and school leadership.
