The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in general maintenance and be able to respond promptly to repair and maintenance requirements while ensuring a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for guests and colleagues.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out daily preventive and corrective maintenance throughout the hotel.Attend to maintenance requests related to electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, AC, and general building maintenance.Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, facilities, and equipment.Perform basic AC cleaning and servicing as required.Carry out minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general repair works.Respond promptly to guest and hotel department maintenance requests and emergencies.Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, and to hotel standards.Maintain and properly store tools, equipment, and maintenance materials.Report major defects, equipment failures, and maintenance requirements to the Engineering Supervisor.Assist specialized technicians and contractors when required.Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping of work areas after completing tasks.Follow all hotel health, safety, environmental, and operational procedures.Support energy conservation and sustainability initiatives within the hotel.Provide support to other Engineering activities as assigned.Qualifications & ExperiencePrevious experience as a General Technician, Maintenance Technician, or similar role, preferably in a hotel or resort.Hands-on knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, AC, painting, carpentry, and general maintenance.Experience in hotel, resort, commercial building, or facility management is preferred.Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Safety-conscious, reliable, and service-oriented.Ability to respond effectively to maintenance requests and emergencies.Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts, weekends, and public holidays.Willingness to live and work in a remote resort locationNot the right fit Set up email alerts as new job postings become available that meet your interest!
