About the RoleThe Optometrist is responsible for conducting eye examinations, providing professional vision and contact lens solutions, and delivering excellent customer service. The role also supports optical sales, customer retention, and day-to-day store operations. Job Responsibilities 1. Eye Care & Clinical ServicesConduct eye examinations and vision assessments.Diagnose common vision problems and prescribe corrective lenses and contact lenses.Perform contact lens fitting and provide appropriate eye-care guidance.Maintain accurate patient records and ensure professional clinical standards are followed.2. Customer Service & SalesProvide excellent customer service and understand customers vision and lifestyle needs.Recommend suitable optical lenses, contact lenses, and related products.Follow up with customers within three days after eye examinations to ensure satisfaction.Build strong customer relationships and support customer retention and sales growth.Assist with sales activities when required.3. Stock & EquipmentMonitor contact lens stock and check expiry dates every six months.Place and follow up on contact lens orders.Monitor and follow up on optometry equipment maintenance.
