Requirements
The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with 8-12+ years of experience in construction, specifically in infrastructure projects. Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects, strong knowledge of construction methods, project planning, site management, and subcontractor management are essential. A good understanding of construction drawings, specifications, BOQs, method statements, and HSE/QA/QC requirements is also necessary. GCC construction experience is highly preferred, along with strong communication, leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Job Purpose:The Construction Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing infrastructure construction activities from planning through completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with approved quality standards, specifications, and client requirements.Key Responsibilities:Manage and supervise day-to-day construction activities across infrastructure projects. Lead site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution. Plan, coordinate, and monitor project activities, resources, manpower, materials, and equipment. Ensure construction works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project schedules. Coordinate with consultants, clients, government authorities, and other stakeholders. Monitor project progress against approved schedules and take corrective actions where required. Review and resolve technical and construction-related issues in coordination with the engineering team. Ensure compliance with HSE policies, local regulations, and project-specific safety requirements. Monitor the quality of construction works and ensure compliance with QA/QC standards. Manage subcontractor performance and ensure timely completion of assigned works. Review project plans, drawings, BOQs, method statements, and material submittals. Support cost control and ensure efficient utilization of project resources. Attend progress meetings and provide regular updates on project status, risks, and challenges. Identify potential delays, risks, and site issues and develop appropriate mitigation plans. Ensure proper documentation of construction activities, inspections, approvals, and project records. Coordinate handover, testing, commissioning, snagging, and project close-out activities.
