Requirements
Medical degree such as MBBS, MD, or equivalent from a recognized institution.Recognized postgraduate qualification in Medical Oncology, Clinical Oncology, or a relevant specialty.Significant post-specialty clinical experience in Oncology.Strong experience in the diagnosis and management of a broad range of adult oncology conditions.Experience in systemic cancer treatment and management of treatment-related complications.Experience working within a multidisciplinary oncology team.Strong clinical judgment, decision-making, and patient-management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.Candidates with internationally recognized specialist/consultant qualifications are strongly encouraged to apply.

A prestigious Government Healthcare Facility in the UAE is seeking an experienced Senior Specialist / Consultant – Oncologist to join its multidisciplinary cancer care team.This is an excellent opportunity for a highly qualified Oncologist to work within a well-established government healthcare environment, providing comprehensive, evidence-based cancer care and contributing to clinical excellence.We are particularly interested in candidates with internationally recognized qualifications, including UK CCT, Western Qualified, American Board, Australian Board, and South African Board credentials.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide specialist/consultant-level assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of patients with cancer and related conditions.Develop individualized and evidence-based treatment plans based on diagnosis, disease stage, patient factors, and current clinical guidelines.Manage patients receiving systemic anti-cancer therapies, including chemotherapy and other appropriate treatment modalities.Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and collaborate with surgeons, radiation oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, and other healthcare professionals.Monitor treatment response, manage adverse effects, and provide appropriate supportive care.Provide comprehensive follow-up and survivorship care where appropriate.Assess complex oncology cases and determine appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic pathways.Communicate treatment options, prognosis, and care plans effectively with patients and their families.Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records and clinical documentation.Participate in clinical audits, research, quality improvement programs, and departmental activities.Contribute to teaching, supervision, and mentoring of junior medical staff.Promote patient safety, clinical governance, and evidence-based oncology practice.Stay updated with advances in cancer diagnosis, treatment, immunotherapy, targeted therapies, and emerging oncology practices.
