Description
We are looking for an HSE Lead to lead the implementation of health, safety, and environmental policies on site, ensuring full compliance and a safe, responsible working environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and implement the HSE Management System across the manufacturing facility.Ensure compliance with applicable HSE laws, regulations, standards, and company requirements.Identify, assess, and control operational, machinery, chemical, and process-related risks.Lead Risk Assessments, and ensure effective implementation of control measures.Conduct regular HSE inspections and audits and follow up on corrective actions.Lead incident, accident, and near-miss investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.Monitor HSE KPIs, performance indicators, and trends, and prepare reports for management.Develop and maintain Emergency Response and Preparedness Plans and conduct emergency drills.Ensure effective implementation of Permit to Work systems for high-risk activities.Oversee machine safety, guarding, and equipment safety requirements.Deliver HSE induction, training, toolbox talks, and safety awareness programs.Drive Safety Culture and Continuous Improvement initiatives across the facility.Provide HSE leadership and guidance to Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and other departments.QualificationsBachler's Degree in Engineering or equivalent Professional HSE certifications 7–10 years of experience in HSE, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
