Proficiency in ERP systems, GAAP, IFRS, and taxation rules and regulations is essential, along with good knowledge of the English language. Understanding of manufacturing business processes is also required.
Description
A leading international manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Accountant.Key Responsibilities:Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts receivable and payable transactions within the ERP system.Monitor customer accounts, manage non-payments and delayed payments, and perform active collection activities.Issue invoices to clients and support intercompany transactions.Plan and execute payments, manage cash-related activities, and ensure proper accounting registration.Monitor and reconcile bank transactions and fees, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Support tax calculations and declarations (corporate, labor, VAT, etc.) within required deadlines.Assist in the preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and financial reports.Support the preparation of special financial reports through data collection, analysis, and summarization.Collaborate with the Finance Manager in researching and interpreting accounting and fiscal regulations.Prepare documentation for periodic audits.Support office management and administrative activities when required.What are we looking forGood knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).Good knowledge of taxation rules and regulations.Understanding of manufacturing business processes.Excellent applied knowledge of ERP systems.Bachelor's degree in Administration, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience.Experience as an Accountant in a manufacturing company or a chartered accountant consultancy firm.Good knowledge of English language.The company is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, protected veteran status, status as a qualified individual with a disability, or any other characteristic protected by law.
