External Job DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesThe Lead Technician will provide technical directions, ensure compliance with quality standards, and support continuous improvement efforts on the shop floor.Lead day-to-day activities of a team of technicians working on metallic engine components such as turbine blades, housings, ducts, liners, and support structures.Provide hands-on support in the assembly, disassembly, machining, or inspection of engine hardware.Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices, safety protocols, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).Complete documentation including inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and build logs.Support root cause investigations and corrective actions related to component defects or process deviations.Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with OSHA, company EHS policies, and hazardous material handling procedures.Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to identify process inefficiencies and suggest improvements.Assist in developing and revising work instructions and tooling to enhance safety, quality, and throughput.Qualifications And SkillsDegree or Certification in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Precision/Aerospace EngineeringThis position requires deep knowledge of precision machining, metalworking practices, and engine hardware handling.Experience5 years of hands-on experience of precision metallic aerospace or industrial engine componentsExperience working on aerospace projects or scope of work.Awareness of working on engine components would be an advantage.#EPI
