Job OverviewThe Project Engineer is responsible for managing and overseeing engineering aspects of projects from initiation to completion. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams, to ensure that projects are executed according to specifications, within budget, and on schedule.The Project Engineer handles technical and logistical challenges, ensures compliance with safety and quality standards, and prepares detailed reports on project progress. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently to achieve project goals and deliverables.Key AccountabilitiesAssist in creating detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budget requirements. Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and engineers to ensure project requirements are understood and met. Assist in preparing and maintaining project schedules, including defining project tasks, dependencies, and timelines. Analyze and review engineering drawings and specifications to ensure they are accurate and feasible for construction. Address technical challenges and issues that arise during the construction phase, providing solutions and adjustments as necessary. Ensure that all engineering practices and project activities comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations. Oversee daily construction activities, ensuring that work is performed according to the project plans and specifications. Implement quality control procedures to monitor construction work and ensure it meets the required standards and specifications. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations on-site to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel. Generate and maintain detailed reports on project progress, including updates on budget, schedule, and any issues encountered. Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, change orders, and correspondence. Keep records of daily activities, materials used, and any changes to the project scope or schedule. Assist in tracking project expenses and ensuring that costs are controlled and kept within the allocated budget. Coordinate the procurement of materials and resources, ensuring timely availability and efficient use. Provide input on cost estimates and help identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising project quality. Serve as a point of contact for project-related inquiries and communicate effectively with all stakeholders. Coordinate the efforts of the project team, including engineers, subcontractors, and construction workers, to ensure smooth execution. Qualifications / RequirementsDegree in Civil Engineering is a MUST5 years of experience working in substations (33KV/133KV or above) is a MUST.UAE Driving license is a MUST
