Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Maintenance, or a related technical discipline.
Relevant experience in rotating equipment maintenance within oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, power generation, or heavy industrial facilities.
Strong hands-on experience with pumps, compressors, turbines, gearboxes, bearings, couplings, and mechanical seals.
Good knowledge of equipment overhaul, precision shaft alignment, balancing, vibration analysis, condition monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Experience supervising maintenance technicians, contractors, and workshop activities.
Strong understanding of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance practices.
Familiarity with OEM manuals, engineering drawings, tolerances, maintenance procedures, and inspection requirements.
Working knowledge of SAP PM or other CMMS systems.
Good understanding of HSE requirements, Permit to Work procedures, risk assessment, and safe maintenance practices.
Strong leadership, communication, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work effectively during shutdowns, turnarounds, emergency maintenance, and high-priority equipment failures.
OEM training, vibration analysis certification, laser alignment certification, or other relevant rotating equipment qualifications would be an advantage.
