Experience in Psychiatric Care and Mental Health treatment across diverse populations is required. A current medical license (or eligibility for licensing) to practice psychiatry in Qatar, with board certification or equivalent, is necessary. Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues is essential. Commitment to holistic, patient-centered care and sensitivity to cultural, religious, and individual differences is expected. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
Description
Role Description The Psychiatrist is a full-time, or part-time on-site role based in Doha, Qatar. This role involves conducting psychiatric evaluations, diagnosing mental health conditions, and developing individualized treatment plans for clients. The psychiatrist will provide ongoing outpatient care, including medication management, psychotherapy, and crisis intervention as appropriate. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with multidisciplinary wellness practitioners, maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation, and participating in case conferences and care planning.
