Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage local litigation cases from inception to resolution, ensuring excellent legal advice and client service.
- Represent clients in courts, arbitrations, and other dispute resolution forums in the UAE.
- Develop and execute litigation strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
- Manage and mentor junior lawyers and support staff, fostering professional development and high performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to build strong, cohesive legal approaches.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, including business development and client retention initiatives.
- Stay abreast of changes in local laws and regulations impacting litigation and advise clients accordingly.
- Contribute to the firm’s strategic goals by developing new practice areas and expanding litigation services.
Requirements:
- Qualified lawyer with extensive experience in UAE litigation and local legal procedures.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex and high-value litigation cases.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and inspire a team of legal professionals.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
