Description
Job Purpose:To optimize revenue and profitability by analyzing demand trends, forecasting passenger bookings, managing pricing strategies, and ensuring effective seat inventory control.Key Accountabilities • Revenue Forecasting & Analysis- Develop accurate demand forecasts using historical data, booking curves, and market trends.- Analyze route performance, load factors, RASK, yield, and revenue contribution.- Identify opportunities for revenue improvement and recommend corrective actions.• Pricing Strategy & Competitor Monitoring- Recommend competitive pricing strategies while maintaining revenue integrity.- Monitor competitor pricing, market trends, and fare movements on a daily basis.- Conduct fare elasticity and price-sensitivity analysis.• Inventory & Seat Control- Manage booking classes and seat allocations across the network.- Optimize overbooking levels based on historical no-show rates and route performance.- Coordinate with Scheduling, Ops, and Sales to adjust seat availability when required.• Systems & Tools Management- Use revenue management systems (e.g., PROS, Amadeus, Sabre) to control pricing and inventory.- Generate and automate reports for revenue and route performance.• New Route Performance- Support new route performance tracking with demand estimation and break-even analysis. - Provide insights and recommendations to ensure financial viability.• Cross-Department Coordination- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Network Planning, and Finance.- Provide data-driven insights to support promotions, fare campaignsEducation & Experience:-Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Aviation, or similar-2 - 4 Years Professional Experience in Revenue Management ( in Airlines industry).
