Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering from a Government/Public University is mandatory.20+ years of relevant experience in the construction and contracting industry.Proven experience in a senior operational leadership position such as COO, Operations Director, Projects Director, or equivalent.Strong proven track record in managing large-scale construction operations and major projects.Extensive experience in Operations Management, Project Management, Strategic Planning, Business Development, and Cost Management.Strong understanding of construction operations, project execution, and resource management.Proven ability to lead large teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.Strong commercial and operational acumen.Excellent command of English.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset.

Chief Operating Officer (COO) -ConstructionJob ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage the company’s overall day-to-day operations across all business units.Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to achieve the company’s objectives.Oversee the execution and delivery of major construction projects, ensuring compliance with approved budgets, timelines, quality, and safety standards.Monitor operational performance and ensure the effective utilization of manpower, equipment, and resources.Establish and monitor KPIs to improve operational efficiency and business performance.Lead and coordinate operational teams, project management teams, and department heads.Identify operational challenges, risks, and inefficiencies and implement effective corrective actions.Ensure effective coordination between Projects, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, HR, and other departments.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.Monitor project progress and operational performance and provide regular reports to the CEO and Board of Directors.Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, regulatory standards, and HSE procedures.Support business growth by ensuring the organization has the operational capabilities and resources required for new projects and expansion.
