Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced and compassionate Consultant Allergist and Immunologist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of allergic, immunologic, and immune-mediated disorders in adult and pediatric patients. The role requires expertise in advanced diagnostic testing, immunotherapy, and evidence-based management to deliver exceptional patient care.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and manage allergic conditions, including allergic rhinitis, asthma, eczema (atopic dermatitis), food allergies, drug allergies, insect venom allergies, urticaria, angioedema, and anaphylaxis.Evaluate and treat primary and secondary immunodeficiency disorders, autoimmune diseases, and immune-mediated conditions within the scope of allergy and clinical immunology.Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and allergy-focused evaluations.Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures such as skin prick testing, intradermal testing, patch testing, pulmonary function testing (where applicable), and laboratory investigations including IgE and immunologic studies.Develop individualized treatment plans, including allergen avoidance strategies, pharmacotherapy, immunotherapy (allergy desensitization), and biologic therapies where indicated.Administer and monitor allergen immunotherapy while ensuring appropriate management of adverse reactions.Manage emergency allergic conditions, including anaphylaxis, in accordance with established clinical guidelines.Educate patients and their families on allergy prevention, trigger avoidance, medication use, emergency action plans, and lifestyle modifications.Collaborate with pulmonologists, dermatologists, ENT specialists, pediatricians, gastroenterologists, and other multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in compliance with DHA regulations and hospital policies.Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, research, and continuing medical education activities.Supervise and mentor junior physicians, residents, and allied healthcare professionals where applicable.Ensure adherence to infection control standards, patient safety protocols, and ethical medical practices.QualificationsMedical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.Completion of a recognized Residency in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics.Fellowship or subspecialty training in Allergy and Clinical Immunology from a recognized institution.Board Certification or equivalent in Allergy and Clinical Immunology.DHA Eligibility Letter, DHA License, or eligibility for Consultant licensure in Dubai.ExperienceMinimum of 8–10 years of post-specialization experience as a Consultant Allergist and Immunologist.Extensive experience in diagnosing and managing complex allergic and immunologic disorders, including administration of allergen immunotherapy and biologic therapies.Experience in a tertiary care hospital or internationally accredited healthcare institution is highly preferred.Skills & CompetenciesAdvanced expertise in allergy, asthma, and clinical immunology.Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills.Proficiency in allergy testing, immunotherapy, and management of immunologic disorders.Excellent communication, patient counseling, and interpersonal skills.Strong multidisciplinary collaboration and leadership abilities.Commitment to evidence-based medicine and continuous professional development.High standards of professionalism, ethics, and patient-centered care.Excellent organizational, documentation, and time-management skills.
