Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B. or equivalent).Relevant professional legal qualification or bar admission is preferred, where applicable.0-2 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a corporate, commercial, or law-firm environment.Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate/commercial law, and regulatory compliance.Excellent legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal/document management systems.
Description
Key ResponsibilitiesDraft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, letters, and other legal documents.Provide legal guidance to internal teams on day-to-day business matters.Conduct legal research and prepare clear summaries and recommendations.Monitor applicable laws, regulations, and regulatory developments affecting the business.Support corporate governance, licensing, regulatory, and compliance activities.Identify potential legal risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.Maintain and organize legal records, contracts, and documentation.Assist with disputes, claims, and legal proceedings in coordination with external counsel where required.Ensure timely renewal and monitoring of contracts, permits, licenses, and other legal obligations.Develop and maintain legal templates, policies, procedures, and standard agreements.Collaborate with HR, Finance, Procurement, Operations, and other departments on legal matters.Support internal compliance initiatives and provide awareness of relevant legal requirements.
