Job Purpose:Lead the estimation and tendering functions and ensure accurate, competitive, and commercially sound cost estimates for construction projects and tenders.Key Responsibilities:* Lead the preparation and review of project cost estimates and tenders.* Analyze drawings, specifications, BOQs, scope of work, and contractual requirements.* Develop accurate quantities, rates, labor, material, equipment, subcontractor, and indirect cost estimates.* Coordinate with Civil, Architectural, MEP, Procurement, and Commercial teams.* Obtain and evaluate supplier/subcontractor quotations.* Develop tender budgets and cost breakdowns.* Conduct market analysis and benchmark material and subcontractor prices.* Identify commercial risks, exclusions, assumptions, and opportunities.* Review tender submissions and ensure accuracy before final submission.* Maintain estimation databases, historical costs, and pricing benchmarks.* Lead and develop the estimation team.
