We are looking for the right person to come onboard as our new Radio Room Operator in Fujairah.Could it be youWhat would your day at GAC look likeIf Appointed, You Will Be Responsible For Crew /supply boat coordination upon receipt of check lists from Persons in Charge. Updating daily boat log sheets and distributing them to coordinators. Providing cargo operations updates to concerned parties, especially during absence of the respective handler due (out of office hours, holidays, etc.). Arranging crew/personnel transportation as per request from Person in Charge, with priority to use own transport. Updating vessel requirements/movements to boarding representatives, to facilitate timely attendance on board. Assisting in monitoring communications and covering operations, especially after office hours and during holidays or absence of the Person in Charge. Timely, accurate response and coordination for queries with clear communication, immediately elevating issues - if any - to the respective Person in Charge, boarding officer or manager. Twice daily (preferably noon and midnight) updating of list of tanker vessel calls by using AIS live and other sources available. Taking proactive and effective measures to reduce operational errors and miscommunication. Processing Fujairah port entry pass for clients/visitors and personnel. Timely and appropriate action on queries/coordination.What are we looking for Higher Secondary Education (preferred).
