Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (Master's preferred) and 3-7 years of experience in electronics or embedded systems, with a preference for experience in HVAC, refrigeration, appliances, or dehumidification products. Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining control electronics, selecting and integrating sensors and actuators, developing embedded firmware, implementing communication protocols, and designing for manufacturability and reliability in harsh environments. The role also involves leading testing and validation, performing root-cause analysis, and maintaining technical documentation.
Description
We are seeking an Electronics Engineer to own the design, development, and validation of electronics and embedded control systems for Atmospheric Water Generation (AWG) machines. This role ensures reliable operation across compressors, fans, sensors, sanitation cycles, safety systems, and connectivity—supporting rapid prototyping, product industrialisation, and field performance in UAE operating conditions.Key ResponsibilitiesElectronics & Control SystemsDesign and maintain control electronics (schematics, BOM, PCB reviews) for AWG systems (residential to commercial).Select and integrate sensors (temperature, humidity, pressure, flow, water quality) and actuators (compressors, fans, pumps, valves, heaters).Develop embedded firmware and control logic for start-up, normal operation, defrost, sanitation, alarms, and safe shutdown.Implement communication protocols and data logging (Modbus/RS485, CAN, Ethernet, Wi-Fi).Design for DFM/DFT, reliability, and operation in hot, humid, and dusty environments.Testing & ValidationLead board bring-up, debugging, and system integration testing.Perform root-cause analysis and drive corrective actions.Support EMC, safety, and pre-compliance testing for certifications.Documentation & CollaborationMaintain technical documentation (schematics, firmware notes, wiring diagrams, test reports).Collaborate with mechanical and thermodynamics teams to optimise refrigeration-cycle performance and water yield.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (Master's preferred).3–7 years of experience in electronics or embedded systems(HVAC, refrigeration, appliances, dehumidification, or similar products preferred).
