We are building a stablecoin-powered global B2B payment network that serves high-frequency, digital-first verticals including iGaming and cross-border trade. In this senior role, you will take full strategic ownership of our risk control architecture, balancing growth with rigorous loss mitigation, channel health, and regulatory compliance across on-chain and off-chain rails.You will design and establish our end-to-end Risk Strategy framework from 0 to 1. You will not be performing daily manual reviews or writing code. Instead, you will act as the chief architect of what to check and how to check—authoring robust SOPs for operational teams, directing system product requirements for Product & Tech, and driving high conversion rates for legitimate high-volume merchants without compromising security.We are flexible in terms of the job location, work arrangement will be tailored to identified candidate's preference.What You'll Do 1. Architect Risk Frameworks & Merchant Tiering (0-to-1)Establish comprehensive merchant onboarding (KYB) and transaction monitoring (TM) interception rules for iGaming operators and trade merchants based on licensing, geography, traffic models, and volume.Build multi-dimensional, tiered review standards and actionable SOPs for mid-office reviewers, aligning document requirements and rolling reserves to specific merchant risk profiles to ensure standardized execution.2. Lead Complex Case Escalations & iGaming Micro-Risk StrategyServe as the senior escalation point for high-risk, disputed, or edge-case scenarios, evaluating player anomalies (e.g., immediate cash-outs violating wagering ratios, syndicate bonus harvesting, unlinked payout addresses) and providing pragmatic solutions.Design robust risk frameworks for non-standard, high-risk scenarios such as third-party payouts and deposits originating from self-hosted wallets.3. Drive System Productization & Risk AutomationTranslate operational risk insights into structured system rule logic to eliminate reliance on manual labor and increase automated approval rates.Partner directly with Product and Engineering leaders to specify and roll out advanced risk infrastructure, including smart rule engines, device fingerprinting, and KYT crypto screening tools (e.g., Chainalysis, TRM Labs).4.
