About the role
A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery services and is seeking a highly skilled consultant plastic surgeon to join its growing clinical team. The role is designed for internationally trained clinicians seeking career advancement, strong clinical exposure, and the ability to practice within a modern, quality-driven healthcare environment serving a diverse international patient population.
Role overview
The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced consultants, nurses, allied health professionals and modern diagnostic, surgical and treatment infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
Assess and treat patients requiring aesthetic, reconstructive, hand, trauma, breast and soft-tissue plastic surgery procedures according to scope of practice.
Perform surgical and non-surgical plastic surgery procedures with appropriate patient selection, informed consent and realistic counselling.
Perform cosmetic and reconstructive procedures according to expertise, including breast, facial, body contouring and soft-tissue surgery where applicable.
Manage perioperative planning, surgical complications, wound care, post-operative recovery and follow-up.
Provide comprehensive consultation regarding aesthetic goals, treatment options, risks, benefits and expected outcomes.
Collaborate with dermatology, oncology, orthopaedics, ENT, maxillofacial surgery and rehabilitation teams when required.
Maintain high standards of clinical photography, documentation, patient confidentiality, infection control and surgical governance.
Participate in clinical audit, quality improvement, patient safety and multidisciplinary case discussions.
Support ethical practice, patient education and the development of high-quality plastic and reconstructive surgery services.
