Description
Manage and oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations.Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.Monitor cash flow, working capital, receivables, payables, and overall financial position.Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans and monitor performance against budgets.Ensure accurate accounting of jewellery sales, purchases, inventory, manufacturing costs, wastage, and metal consumption.Monitor and control jewellery stock valuation, reconciliation, and financial records.Review and approve payments, expenses, invoices, and financial transactions as per company authorisation procedures.Ensure timely reconciliation of bank accounts, customer accounts, supplier accounts, and inter-company transactions.Manage VAT, corporate tax, and other statutory financial requirements and ensure timely compliance.Coordinate with auditors and provide required financial records and supporting documents.Establish and maintain effective internal financial controls to minimize errors, fraud, and financial risks.Analyse branch-wise and product-wise sales, margins, expenses, and profitability.Provide management with financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions.Monitor credit control, outstanding receivables, and supplier payments.Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.Supervise, guide, and develop the finance and accounts team.Coordinate with HR, Sales, Procurement, Operations, and Factory departments on financial matters.Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and improved financial efficiency. Ensure confidentiality and security of all financial information and company records.
