Skills
The successful candidate will have:
A bachelor's or master's degree in physical education, sports science, primary education or a related subject
A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS or equivalent)
Experience teaching PE within the primary phase and preferably within the British curriculum
Excellent subject knowledge and a commitment to delivering engaging, high-quality PE and sporting experiences
A passion for physical education and the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities to develop their skills, confidence and enjoyment of sport
Experience planning and delivering a broad and balanced PE curriculum, with the ability to support students in developing physical literacy and a lifelong interest in physical activity
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to contributing to the wider sporting and co-curricular life of the school
