Description
Core Responsibilities:-Develop and activate Short & long-term plans for providing inpatient medical services.Implement daily medical care delivery plans in accordance with hospital standards.Prepare and monitor monthly registrars schedules and ensure compliance.Evaluate cases referred to the hospital and ensure proper admission procedures.Assess discharge requests for patient safety and compliance with the law.Supervise the use of hospital coding systems (e.g., code blue) and ensure proper documentation.Review and ensure implementation of Clinical Pharmacy recommendations.Report long-stay cases, identify root causes, and propose resolutions to the Medical Director.Ensure accurate and complete documentation of patient care in medical Records.Oversee daily consultant ward rounds to ensure patient review, plan of care updates, and adherence to clinical protocols.Participate in DAMA monitoring and retention process.Responsible for timely response to OVRs and implementation of corrective actions.Prepare the Inpatient Department Manual in collaboration with the Quality Department.Review mortality cases and submit reports to the Medical Director and Quality Department.Organize monthly departmental meetings with registrars to review the issues and operational incidents and follow up on corrective action plans.Support staff development, training, and adherence to policies and procedures.Collaborate with the Quality Department to maintain standards in documentation and patient care.Investigate complaints from patients or families, implement corrective measures, and report to the Medical Director.Implement and monitor related quality policies within the inpatient department.Submit daily reports to the Medical Director on violations, complaints, or non-compliance, with corrective actionsRequirements:-Master's degree in clinical medicine. 5 years experience in medical management.
