Requirements
Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas. A minimum of 3 years of experience in MPD, especially on Deepwater projects, is preferred. Relevant experience in field operations is preferred for senior roles. Must possess knowledge of mechanics, electronics, pneumatics, and hydraulics, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills.

Field Specialist III-MPD

We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Field Engineer / Field Specialist to support operations across a variety of products and services in the Oil & Gas sector. 
Depending on MPD experienced especially in recent MPD Deepwater, the role ranges from entry-level execution to senior-level leadership, including troubleshooting complex technical issues, mentoring junior engineers, and acting as a key interface with clients at well sites. 
 

Key Responsibilities

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to company HSE, security, and compliance standards
  • Maintain safe working conditions and prioritize environmental protection
  • Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and hazard analysis
  • Promote continuous improvement in safety and operational practices

 

Operations & Service Delivery

  • Execute job planning, preparation, mobilization, and field operations
  • Operate, test, and maintain tools and equipment
  • Monitor operational data and recommend solutions
  • Prepare and submit job reports, service tickets, and documentation
  • Support 24/7 on-call operations as required
  • Manage inventory and equipment at well site
  • Assist or lead root cause analysis for equipment failures
  • Deliver high-quality service to clients and maintain relationships

 

Technical & Leadership (Mid/Senior Levels)

  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and recommend solutions
  • Perform engineering calculations and software-based checks onsite
  • Lead field crews and mentor junior engineers
  • Act as technical advisor to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Oversee installation of complex equipment

 

 Quality Assurance

  • Ensure compliance with company quality policies
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain service delivery excellence
