Role overview
The RIL inspector will support the customer in renewal of institutional licensure (RIL) activities for existing higher education institutions. This is a senior inspection profile requiring strong experience in higher education quality assurance, institutional accreditation, licensing, regulatory compliance, KPI verification and institutional assessment.
Key responsibilities
Participate in institutional licensure-renewal inspections.
Review institutional data and documentation before visits.
Conduct KPI data verification and evidence assessment.
Review applicable compliance requirements, including admissions and other relevant regulatory areas.
Review previous findings and corrective action plans.
Conduct evidence gathering, sampling and triangulation.
Validate institutional records and supporting documentation.
Assess the completeness, accuracy and reliability of institutional data.
Identify significant risks, anomalies and potential regulatory breaches.
Participate in on-site inspections across UAE institutions.
Conduct professional discussions with institutional leadership and representatives.
Maintain clear and traceable evidence.
Provide evidence-based input into inspection reporting.
Support CAP review and verification where required.
Escalate high-risk findings and data anomalies to the customer team.
Participate in customer calibration, training and alignment activities.
Minimum qualifications
Master’s degree in education, quality assurance, higher education management, public policy or a related discipline. Doctorate preferred for candidates working with research-intensive institutions. Professional training or certification in quality assurance, accreditation, audit or risk management.
