Operational Management Assist the Assistant Restaurant Manager in training and supervising front-of-house staff. Oversee daily floor operations and ensure all company standards are consistently met. Ensure completion of all opening and closing procedures, checklists, and requisitions for each shift. Conduct and lead pre-shift briefings and ensure staff attendance at departmental meetings. Communicate effectively with staff regarding menu updates, reservations, special guest requirements, and operational issues. Ensure all service steps, policies, and procedures are followed in line with company guidelines. Monitor restaurant and kitchen operations to ensure food quality and service standards are maintained. Utilize the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently. Follow and enforce proper cash handling procedures.Customer Service Interact with guests in a professional and friendly manner to ensure high levels of satisfaction. Handle guest concerns and complaints promptly and effectively. Maintain a visible presence on the floor to monitor service quality and provide guidance where needed.Leadership & Team Supervision Observe staff performance and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement. Encourage teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment. Ensure staff are well-organized, prepared, and aligned with operational requirements. Lead by example and act as a role model for service excellence.HR & Training Support continuous training and development of team members. Identify talent and assist in staff development initiatives. Participate in recruitment processes and coordinate with HR when required. Ensure timely completion of probation reviews, appraisals, and documentation. Promote a culture of respect, engagement, and teamwork.Health & Safety Ensure compliance with local health, hygiene, and safety regulations. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment at all times.Marketing & Brand Representation Maintain knowledge of current promotions, offers, and packages. Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring all interactions reflect company values and standards.Communication Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills. Prepare and communicate reports when required. Ensure clear and consistent communication between front-of-house and kitchen teams.
