Responsibilities
Wallet management:
Oversee daily operations of exchange wallets, including deposits and withdrawals. Monitor blockchain transactions to ensure timely processing and resolve delays or failures. Maintain operational uptime of exchange wallets. Coordinate and complete network upgrades, token events, and testing with no issues.
Risk mitigation & compliance:
Prepare monthly wallet balance and transaction reports for regulatory submission to FSRA. Monitor internal alerts and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external parties to react to incidents and implement safeguards. Continuously review existing risks and controls to prevent potential future impact to the firm or users.
Process optimization:
Review internal processes and simplify or automate processes to enhance efficiency and user experience. Analyze competitor products and industry trends to identify potential product or process enhancements.
Cross-functional & external collaboration:
Work with customer support to resolve wallet-related user inquiries. Partner with stakeholders across various departments to solve customer pain points and enhance our product. Communicate and collaborate with regulators, auditors, and external parties for licensing and other certifications as required.
Requirements
At least 8+ years in crypto wallet operations, blockchain infrastructure, compliance, or a related role.
Experience in facing regulators is a plus.
Familiarity with various blockchain technologies including EVM, Polkadot, Cosmos, etc.
Familiarity with on-chain analysis tools, DeFi protocols, and new projects.
Familiarity with wallet infrastructure such as nodes, signing services, and wallet custody models (hardware wallet, MPC, HSM, KSM, embedded custody).
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to stay calm in pressure situations and make clear decisions with thorough impact analysis.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, 24/7 crypto environment; passionate and self-starter.
Experience in traditional finance custody is a plus.
